Labor Day usually marks the "unofficial" last day
of summer. This year in Utah, that is an understatement! Overnight,
and this morning, Dawn and I watched as up to 5 inches of snow fell on
the mountains surrounding our home! It won't be long before we break
out our snow skis!
In the meantime, there are many competitions and still alot of
great waterskiing remaining in 2008! The MasterCraft Pro Tour Stop #6
just wrapped up at Trophy Lakes and six of the eight finalists were
riding GOODE Skis!

KARINA NOWLAN WINS; GOODE SWEEPS 1ST, 2ND, 3RD AND 4TH.
JOHNS ISLAND, SC - Karina Nowlan (AUS) won the 6th Stop of the
MasterCraft Pro Tour at world-famous Trophy Lakes by beating GOODE
Teammate, Karen Truelove, under the lights Saturday night. On her
way to victory, Karina set a new Australian Record of 5 buoys at
39-1/2'. Karina's score is the third best score ever run by a
woman.
All four of the women finalists that qualified to ski under the
lights rode GOODE Skis. Regina Jaquess, skiing on her new 9900SL,
finished 3rd while Clementine Lucine finished 4th.
"I was very pleased to see that all four women finalists were
riding GOODE Skis. Karina was also using the PowerShell boots and
I believe that they helped give her the edge.", said Dave Goode.
"Karina is on fire as she has won the last 3 Pro Tour Stops. She
is knocking on the door of the World Record, too.", continues

April Coble-Eller got injured during the qualifying round.

PARSONS, DEGASPERI SKI 9900SL WIDE RIDE INTO FINALS
JOHNS ISLAND, SC - US National Champion, Nick Parsons, and World
Champion, Thomas Degasperi, both rode their new 9900SL WIDE RIDEs
into the night finals at the 6th Stop of the MasterCraft Pro Water
Ski Tour.
Drew Ross (CAN) won the event with Nick Parsons finishing 2nd
place. Will Asher (GBR) finished 3rd and Thomas Degasperi (ITA)
was 4th. Ross, Parsons and Degasperi all ski with GOODE PowerShell
boots.

really love it!", said Thomas Degasperi.
"I just mounted up a new 9900SL WIDE RIDE the day of the finals
and I was able to beat Chris Rossi, World Record Holder Chris
