top qualified USA competitors are beginning to focus on the upcoming
GOODE Water Ski National Championships.
The next two weeks will be exciting for GOODE as we will unveil 3
revolutionary new products on the opening day of the GOODE Water Ski
National Championships that are guaranteed to take your skiing to the
next level!
WEST PALM BEACH, FL - The 66th GOODE Water Ski National
Championships will begin on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the famous
Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach.
"GOODE is proud to be the title sponsor of the World's largest
water ski tournament again this year.", said Dave Goode,
President/Founder of GOODE Ski Technologies. "The Ski Club of the
Palm Beaches of West Palm Beach have done an outstanding job
hosting the GOODE Nationals in previous years . It is a favorite
spot for many competitors.", GOODE continues. "We will again be
using the GOODE Nationals as a product launching platform. I am
excited to unveil 3 revolutionary products this year. Stay

REGISTRATION INFO: The entry deadline is 5 p.m. (EDT) on
Tuesday, Aug. 5. Late entries will be accepted until noon (EDT) on
Thursday, Aug. 7, or by the chief registrar at the tournament site
until 5 p.m. the day prior to the scheduled start of the skier's
event. Entries received after the Aug. 5 deadline must include a
late fee of $10 per 24-hour period or portion thereof.
RUSH VALLEY, UT - Dave Goode won the Men's 4 slalom division at
the 2nd annual GOODE Utah State Championships held on Saturday.
Dave tied the Sunten Lake record by running 2 buoys @ 39-1/2' off.
Bryce Tolman tied Dave's score and Mike Parsons (Nick Parsons'
dad) had the next best score of 4-1/2 buoys @ 38' off.
"I know it is not big news in the world of water skiing, but
for me it is the second best tournament score of my life!", said
Dave Goode. "What makes me the most excited is that I used the new
products that we are going to announce at the 66th GOODE National
Water Ski Championships next week. They are really working well
and I am anxious to share them with fellow skiers."
Also skiing in the Utah State Meet was Sunten's own - Nick
Parsons. Nick is currently ranked #3 on the Elite Points listing.
Nick ran 2 buoys at 41' off to clinch the Open Men's title.

JAQUESS WINS 3 GOLDS; COBLE-ELLER SILVER
MEDELLINE, COLUMBIA - Regina Jaquess (Suwanee, GA) won gold medals
in women's slalom, tricks and overall, and the silver medal in
jumping at the 2008 Pan American Water Ski Championships, a
biennial event held July 28-Aug. 3. April Coble-Eller earned the
silver medal in women's slalom.
The U.S. Elite Water Ski Team tallied 8,704.1 points to win the
gold team medal. Canada scored 8,492.9 points in earning the
silver medal and Chile tallied 7,182.5 points in earning the
bronze medal.
