Regina claims 4th straight California Pro-Am title

The winning streaks continue for Regina Jaquess, as she won her fourth-consecutive California Pro Am this weekend to extend a pro tournament unbeaten streak that stretches back 15 months.

In the head-to-head final rounds, Regina first topped Manon Costard (1 at 41 off to 2.5 at 39.5), and then Whitney McClintock in the final (2 at 41 to 1 at 41) to earn the win.

In Men’s slalom, Chris Parrish and Thomas Degasperi bounced back from injuries to join fellow Team GOODE skier Daniel Odvarko in the finals.  Chris finished 5th, T-Gas 6th and Odvarko 7th.

In addition to serving as tournament host, Greg Badal entered the Master Men’s finals as the top seed, but unfortunately injured his ankle in an off-the-water incident Saturday night. He was unable to ski in Sunday’s finals.  Kevin Bishop ran his first tournament 39 of the year in his first tournament on the GOODE FlexTail to advance to the finals, where he eventually finished 2nd to Matt Brown.  GOODE skiers occupied six of the eights spots in the finals, as Dave Miller finished 3rd, Chad Scott 4th, Marc Shaw 6th, and Steve Ware 7th.
