Favret, Johnson land on the podium at Big Dawg Miami

Ben Favret and Todd Johnson led seven total GOODE skiers into the Sweet 16 of the Big Dawg Miami last weekend, eventually finishing second and third, respectively at the season’s first Big Dawg World Tour stop.

Ben scored 2 at 41-feet off in the championship round, only to have Jeff Rodgers tie him. Jeff edged Ben in a run off to take the titlle at the first Big Dawg tour stop of the season. While it was still only May, GOODE skiers Ben Favret and Todd Johnson were in mid-season form at the first stop of the Big Dawg World Tour held in Miami last weekend.

After coming up a buoy short of Rodgers in the Final Four, Todd topped fourth-place finisher Jason Seels to secure fourth.

Other GOODE skiers advancing to the finals were defending tour champion Greg Badal, Dave Miller, Kyle Tate, Chet Raley and Don Aschenbrenner. For full results, click here.
